CentOS Linux 5.9 釋出

CentOS Linux 已經在日前釋出了 5.9，之前有安裝過的使用者，只要執行下面的指令，即可以更新到最新版本
# yum -y update

CentOS Linux 有二個版本系統，5.x 和 6.x，5.x 最新的版本到 5.9，6.x 最新版本到 6.3，這二個版本我都有用過，原則上如果沒有特別的情況，會推薦使用 6.x，但我有碰過，在某些情況下，用 5.x 會比較沒有問題，5.x 版本的維護期到        2017-03-31，6.x 版本的維護期到 2020-11-30。

大部分的人都是拿來當做 Server 使用，它是 RedHat Enterprise Linux(RHEL) 的免費版本，可以架設 Apahe Web Server、FTP Server、MySQL Server ...，功能非常強大，系統又非常穩定，耗用系統資源很少。

5.9 是 CentOS 5.x 系列目前最新的版本，上面 xx910203 版主的解釋很不錯，就像是 Windows 有 XP SP3 和 Windows 7 SP1，雖然這樣的比喻，無法完全說明這二個版本之間的差異。
